Born in Barnard Castle, County Durham, Tim moved to Norfolk when he was 10 years old. It was here that he was inspired by the wide moving skies and the wildness of the Norfolk Broads with their majestic colourful wherries making their way gracefully through the water.
Even though he had been inspired to paint at the age of seven it wasn’t till later when he had settled and was living and working in Norfolk that he realised his talent for painting what he saw around him, as an amateur artist his work was in demand and the realization that one day he would need to turn professional to keep up with the demand for his work.
Well six years ago that realization became reality and after four successful solo exhibitions in Norfolk and commissioned to produce work for a prestigious companies calendar that he finally turned professional.
