Rare Ralph Goings Exhibition Poster

An original poster advertising the Ralph Goings Exhibition at the O.K. Harris Gallery in New York.

This, dating from 1983, and printed in Sweden, published by SPAB.

The picture is ‘ Ralph’s Diner – one of his 1982 oil paintings, and in his trademark photorealism style.

A fabulous item, it is a large piece, measuring 31.5 inches x 23.5 inches

This edition was originally believed to be 1,000 but most were overprinted by galleries for an exhibition in 1971, curated by the Bernard Jacobson Gallery. Many more would have been destroyed after the exhibition.

We are selling the framed, plate signed print by David Hockney. We have used 2.8mm conservation mount board and used an acid free backing. It is conservation framed using Tru Vue art glass with UV protection. We strongly advise collection as these prints are not easy to replace should damage happen in transit.

I was looking for a Garrowby Hill print and having trouble finding one. I found Pocklington Picture Framing online and they had a few left, so I ordered one. It's a very high quality print, beautifully framed, securely packaged for shipping, arrived promptly and in perfect condition, all at a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier.

I couldn't see my mum for her 70th birthday, but Graham helped to make it a special day by going out of his way to help me find a special gift. I knew a wanted a framed Hockney print, but beyond that I didn't really have a clue. And was very indecisive too. Graham was amazing - we spoke a number of times and he even sent me pictures of things not yet on the website. The packaging meant the print arrived in perfect condition and my mum is delighted! Wanted a Hockney for my daughters birthday. Called Pocklington and spoke with Graham (Just found themselves online). He spent time talking options through on the phone and gave great advice on frame and mount approach and colour.

Despite being in lockdown, the print was framed quickly and couriered to us in London. Graham was really thorough - I got regular emails from him along the way to keep me informed on progress on framing, packing and couriering.

So nice to see someone with clear expertise and who pays so much attention to customer service and satisfaction.

I'm so happy with my David Hockney framed print. Graham is very knowledgeable about Hockney's work and has alot of high quality prints and limited editions that I couldn't find online.

Graham provided a very efficient, good value service, delivering my picture within a week of ordering. I also found him to be very helpful and friendly.

I'm so glad I decided to support my local business rather than the usual online providers. In terms of cost, it was actually very reasonable and the print and frame are of excellent quality. I will certainly use Graham's service in the future.

Dealing with Graham has been an absolute pleasure. I bought a large, framed Hockney print (not available anywhere else in this size) during the lockdown period. Once he was certain that it would arrive on time and in tact, I received the picture within 48 hours of it being sent.

The packaging alone was an absolute work of art: wrapped in foam and bubble wrap then incased in a tailor-made wooden container, tightened with screws. The frame, mounting and picture are wonderful. I highly recommend this friendly, honest, decent seller.

This is the fourth time I have purchased from Graham and, as ever, am delighted with his consistently fantastic work!

Having a great affection for David Hockney, it is great to find a local business that specialises in the artist’s work, has a great stock of prints and an extremely efficient service.

Quality, experience and great subject knowledge really matter to Graham and this is reflected (no pun intended) through his work and the fact that if you go in to his studio, he is a thoroughly nice guy.

Having run out of room for any more pictures at the moment, I’ll have to wait a bit before I think about getting another picture. However, after my recent visit to see Graham there is plenty to hanging on his walls to know that it won’t be long until I see him again.

Amazing company with very friendly people happy to help in any way they can.
We have had a number of items framed, from wedding photos, paintings, even newspaper articles and Graham was just brilliant. Helped me pick out the right frame for the room and item, along with borders etc. The timeline isn’t fast, as they are quite busy, but the end result is fantastic. Very professional and fantastic craftsmanship on the finished product.
I will certainly be back! It has made me realise how important it is to get sentimental pieces framed properly over choosing one off a shop shelf.
